The United India Association of New England Inc., known as UIANE was founded in 1984 with the core mission to preserve, promote and nurture the values of our Indian heritage by planning, developing and executing programs to bring our community together. United India Association believes in strengthening our roots and enriching our lives with Indian culture. UIANE is a cultural, social and charitable organization with team members volunteering to create a platform to showcase cultural talents.
We hold cultural activities and events - seminars, summer family picnic, New Year's celebration, festive Holi, and last but not the least, a professionally produced Diwali Celebration, rich with music, dance, and drama from many regions of India.
To sustain our organization, we need our members to take an active role in planning and executing the functions we all look forward to each year. We are hoping that some of you will be inspired to serve your community with your talents, great and small. Many of us would gladly volunteer time but are unsure of our own ability to serve. Don't be shy to express your interest. We will find a place for you.
Thank you for helping us through monetary donations, volunteering your time, and
spreading our mission through word-of-mouth.
We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
